Steve started playing in Samui when he bumped into the bar owner of the PFC Bar, who was the former Landlord of the Life Boat Public House at Hayling island, where he used to play regularly with the original Smooth Hounds in the UK. They also do charity gigs with other bands to raise funds for local schools in Samui
